Position Summary
The Lead Bartender is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the bar while delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding service, leadership, and beverage knowledge. This position serves as the shift leader for the bar, ensuring operational excellence, adherence to service standards, and a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. The Lead Bartender coaches and supports fellow bartenders and bar support staff while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, safety, and accountability.
What You Will Accomplish
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the bar team during assigned shifts and serve as the primary point of contact for operational needs.
- Set the standard for exceptional guest service and professional hospitality.
- Coach, mentor, and support bartenders and bar support staff through hands-on leadership
- Assist with training and onboarding new team members.
- Foster teamwork and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Communicate operational updates, guest concerns, and maintenance issues to management.
- Deliver warm, personalized, and efficient service to every guest
- Build relationships with guests through product knowledge and genuine hospitality
- Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues whenever possible
- Maintain awareness of guest satisfaction and proactively address service opportunities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure consistency in cocktail preparation and beverage quality
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, spirits, beer, wine, and seasonal offerings
- Promote featured cocktails, premium spirits, and specialty beverages to maximize sales
- Ensure the bar is properly opened and fully prepared prior to service, including:
- Stocking liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, and supplies
- Verifying all equipment is operational
- Preparing juices, syrups, garnishes, and batch cocktails as required
- Confirming cleanliness and organization of all bar stations
- Completing opening checklists and notifying management of any issues
- Ensure the bar is properly closed at the end of each shift, including:
- Cleaning and sanitizing all bar surfaces, equipment, and tools.
- Restocking and organizing all inventory for the following shift.
- Properly storing perishables and securing all alcohol.
- Completing cash-out procedures and POS reconciliation as required
- Completing side work and closing checklists
- Ensuring lights, equipment, refrigeration, and security procedures are properly completed before leaving
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment needs.
- Minimize waste through proper portioning and handling procedures
- Assist with liquor counts and inventory audits
- Ensure all products are stored according to company standards.
- Follow all local, state, and federal alcohol regulations
- Maintain compliance with health, sanitation, and food safety standards
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

- Minimum 2–3 years of high-volume bartending experience
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred

OS&E Coordinator – New Hotel Opening
Position Summary
The OS&E Coordinator is responsible for planning, purchasing, tracking, receiving, storing, and distributing all Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E) required for the successful opening of the hotel. This role works closely with the project team, ownership, procurement, contractors, designers, and hotel department leaders to ensure all operational supplies, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and office materials are installed, organized, and ready for opening day.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all OS&E procurement activities from project initiation through hotel opening.
- Develop and maintain OS&E budgets, inventories, procurement schedules, and tracking reports.
- Coordinate receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution of all OS&E items.
- Assist with the delivery, assembly, placement, and installation of furniture, fixtures, and operational equipment throughout the hotel.
- Support the setup and organization of guest rooms, public spaces, back-of-house areas, offices, and operational departments.
- Assist department leaders with setting up offices, including furniture placement, office supplies, filing systems, and operational materials.
- Coordinate the movement and relocation of furniture, equipment, and supplies as operational needs change during the pre-opening phase.
- Work alongside contractors, vendors, and hotel staff to ensure departments are fully equipped and operational according to the opening schedule.
- Conduct quality inspections of delivered goods and report damaged, missing, or incorrect items.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, asset documentation, and storage organization.
- Monitor purchase orders, invoices, and expenditures to ensure budget compliance.
- Assist with room and departmental installations, mock operations, and opening readiness activities.
- Support hotel leadership with special projects and operational tasks necessary to achieve a successful opening.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, stand, crouch/bend/stoop, reach, smell, and push/pull, the employee is constantly required to hear and talk. The employee must occasionally sit, grasp, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities constantly required are near vision and occasionally required include close and far vision. Finger dexterity is required to operate a point-of-sale system, use of a jigger, and stirring with a bar spoon.
