SAS Programmer

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and debug SAS programs to support business and analytical requirements.

- Create automated SAS scripts, processes, and batch runs to improve operational efficiency.

- Participate in enhancing data analytics and Natural Language Processing (NLP) capabilities.

- Work with structured and unstructured healthcare data to support analytics and application requirements.

- Develop, test, and optimize SAS programs for accuracy, performance, and reliability.

- Work with relational and non-relational databases for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

- Troubleshoot programming and data-related issues and implement effective solutions.

- Collaborate with data analysts, developers, product teams, and other stakeholders on cross-functional initiatives.

- Document programming tasks, processes, procedures, and technical solutions.

- Follow programming standards, data quality practices, and established development processes.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives involving healthcare analytics, AI, data science, and NLP.

Key Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in SAS Programming.

- Proficiency in SAS development, debugging, and troubleshooting.

- Experience creating automated SAS scripts and batch processes.

- Good understanding of relational and non-relational databases.

- Strong analytical, logical, and critical-thinking skills.

- Good understanding of data manipulation, transformation, and analysis.

- Ability to work with large and complex datasets.

- Good understanding of software development and data processing practices.

- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, and innovation-driven environment.

- Exposure to healthcare data, AI, analytics, or NLP is an added advantage.
