SATCOM Systems Engineer, Ground Segment, Systems and SW Focus

About the role

Metrica is looking for a SATCOM Systems Engineer, ground segment, focus on systems and SW, for a Space Sector project.

What you'll do

- Decompose requirements and define functional architecture, modes, and flows.

- Coordinate M&C, NMS, planning, simulators, and support systems.

- Prepare use cases, interfaces, and test requirements.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a person to specify and integrate software functions for the ground segment and SATCOM communications.

*Qualification: Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or similar.

*At least 10 years of professional experience in Telecommunications.

*Experience in Earth Stations, SATCOM, or ground segment.

*Experience in systems, software, and integration. -

Nice to have

*Knowledge of ECSS, DOORS, MBSE, Capella, and UML.

*Knowledge of TT&C, NMS, Monitoring and Control, APIs, and distributed systems.

*Upper-intermediate English. You will not need to operate entirely in English, but most of the documentation handled is in English given that it is an international environment.

• Modality: Hybrid. 40% - 60% Teleworking
• Equipment provided by the client for security reasons.
• Availability to travel: national and international levels
