Job description:
Objective:
We are looking for a Sawyer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up the saw machine, making adjustments for each job
- Set stops or guides to specified lengths
- Operate the saw machine, keeping an eye out for any defects or issues
- Use measurement tools to ensure accuracy
- Use accuracy when measuring and cutting boards and runners from spec sheets
- Check cuts before starting and during the course of the run to ensure accuracy
- Changing blades as they become dull using all safety measures
- Stack all outgoing material neatly in bunks provided
- Ensure all bunks removed are properly marked by size of lumber
- Accurately complete paperwork
Job Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand for the full shift
- Able to use or learn to use a nail gun and read a tape measure
- Works well with others
- Self-driven and able to keep up in a fast-paced, physical job
- Reliable and shows up to work on time

- Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Occasional voluntary overtime
