SBA Business Development Officer

The SBA Business Development Officer will be responsible for finding and closing SBA and USDA loans in alignment with the bank's strategic direction.

Responsibilities-

As an SBA Business Development Officer, you will:

  • Primary focus is to find and close SBA and USDA loans.
  • Provide SBA expertise to clients on structuring and prescreening the opportunity and collecting a complete package ready for underwriting submission.
  • Develop and maintain a center of influence and referral source database that will aide in generating new business through prospecting outside the bank network as well as inside. Making in-person calls on prospects and clients.
  • Foster new and expand existing client relationships through cross-selling products and services including treasury management, deposit accounts, consumer and commercial loan products, etc.
  • Stay up to date on SBA and USDA B&I program changes by attending periodic trainings and attending local SBA/USDA and community functions
