A Security-Cleared Business Analyst supports a finance team by defining, analyzing, and refining business requirements for future technologies and strategies, focusing on data-driven decision-making and project delivery in banking/payments.

My client a leading finance house seek to recruit a seasoned SC Cleared Business Analyst to join a team who are focussed on the future technologies & strategies. To join this team you will be able to demonstrate previous assignments where you have managed complex business requirements, within a large transformation project, using data and fact to infuence decision making.

Core Tasks

  • Working in a team you will define, analyse, refine and enable delivery inline with the product roadmap but also to include any backlog items.
  • Deliver BA services to projects, programme or product teams
  • Deliver current and future state analysis - investigate, analyse, communicate
  • Requirement analysis, management & traceability
  • Create user stories clearly and concisely

Minimum Criteria

  • SC Clearance - valid and transferrable
  • SFIA - Level 4
  • Proven experience of working as a Business Analyst on projects, products or programmes - analysing, business requirements, analysis and management of backlog items
  • Ability to produce clear and concise analysis such as process maps, user stories, acceptance criteria
  • Chairing workshops and stakeholder meetings for both requirements and validation of solutions
  • Knowledge of project delivery and product management approaches (Agile and/or Waterfall)
  • Experience of working within a financial institution - delivering projects relating to Banking & Payments for at least 5 years (Trading, Investment, Banking and/or Treasury.

Desirable Criteria

  • Certification in a recognised delivery method such as Agile or DevOps
  • Expertise in one of the following:
    • Financial Crime Risk Management
    • Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP)
    • Data Business Analysis - data modelling, reporting and analytics
    • Financial markets - securities and settlements
