SC Cleared DevOps Engineer

In this role you will support secure, high-performing services underpinning a core system in a defence/critical infrastructure context. You will work with a collaborative engineering team to solve problems, automate workflows and operate in an agile environment with modern tooling. The role centers on maintaining production-grade reliability and embracing observability and fast incident resolution. You will contribute to roadmaps and improvements in a highly secured, air-gapped environment. This is a chance to affect P1 service availability and stay at the forefront of secure DevOps practices.

• Maintain secure, reliable, and high-performing services underpinning the core system
• Automate workflows and contribute to roadmap-driven enhancements
• Operate in an agile environment with modern tooling
• Resolve incidents and support P1 service availability
• Design and operate end-to-end observability (logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, alerts)
• Manage on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments
• Use Terraform for IAC and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Coordinate in a production environment to ensure service continuity

• SC Clearance - valid and transferable
• Experience in air-gapped environments
• Production environment experience with on-prem Kubernetes/OpenShift
• IAC with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)
• Observability tooling experience (ELK, Splunk, Grafana)
• Cloud platforms: Azure or AWS
• Strong incident resolution and roadmap-driven mindset
