Summary
Full Stack Developer building cloud-based apps for UK government discovery and reform work on Azure, split between front-end (Angular/TypeScript) and back-end (Java/Spring Boot, Python) delivery, including APIs, DevOps pipelines, and prototyping. Candidates must already hold SC security clearance and work from London.
As a Full Stack Developer, you will design and build cloud-based applications that support discovery work. You’ll work across front-end and back-end domains, testing new approaches and digital services tied to reform programmes. You contribute to secure, usable, and high-performance solutions from day one. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end capabilities in a modern Azure environment. - Design, develop, and test apps using Java/Spring Boot, Python, TypeScript, and Angular
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with microservices

- Working knowledge of Python for API or integration scripting
- Strong understanding of Azure services (App Services, AKS, storage)
- Experience developing and consuming APIs and data exchange between systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, Cypress), and Git workflows
- Awareness of secure coding practices, OAuth/OIDC, and identity management
