In this role you will design, develop and deliver multi-tier applications for Public Sector and National Security projects. You will contribute across client and server sides, aligning with agile practices and enterprise-scale architectures. You’ll own components, ensure quality through testing, and support transition to live service. Responsibilities
  • Design and develop complex multi-tier applications for delivery engagements
  • Spec, implement, test (unit) and deploy software to live environments
  • Own components and ensure delivery to standards and timelines
  • Provide technical support for transition to live service
  • Work on both client and server-side development and modern digital/cloud architectures
  • Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional environment with stakeholders
Key requirements
  • Java development experience
  • Spring / SpringBoot proficiency
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure
  • TDD, CI/CD practices
  • REST and modern front-end tools (JavaScript, React, Node) familiarity
  • JUnit, Mockito or similar testing frameworks
  • DDD, Docker, Kubernetes familiarity
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Eligible for UK Security Vetting at mid-level (or higher)
