SC Technical Architect - AWS
Summary
Technical Architect (SC Cleared) on a 3-month hybrid contract in London, leading multidisciplinary teams, owning technical outcomes, and designing AWS-based authentication and identity service integrations.
SR2 is supporting a high-profile, customer-facing programme and is looking for an experienced Technical Architect to join on a contract basis.
Outside IR35
Initial 3-month contract
Hybrid - travel to London required
Active SC clearance required

Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary delivery teams

Take ownership of technical outcomes and support teams through design and delivery

Lead technical decision-making and take a balanced approach to technology selection

Work closely with software engineers, product, delivery and other technical specialists

Support the integration of authentication and identity services across user-facing applications
-
Influence senior stakeholders and support evidence-based technical decision-making

Strong experience as a Technical Architect or similar architecture-focused role

Strong software development background

Experience with identity, authentication and authorisation technologies

Good working knowledge of OIDC and OAuth

Experience designing user-facing web or application integrations

Strong AWS/cloud experience

Experience leading technical teams and delivering user-focused digital services

Strong understanding of application architecture, security and scalability

Experience working within Agile multidisciplinary teams

Understanding of continuous delivery and DevOps cultures

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
