Job Summary

You will supervise and manage metal scaffolding erection, dismantling, and modification activities on site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project schedules. Collaborate with contractors and trades to maintain quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the erection, dismantling, and modification of metal scaffolding on site to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Monitor daily site activities, progress, manpower reports, and provide timely updates and feedback
  • Plan and enforce work schedules aligned with project timelines and specified targets
  • Coordinate site activities with main contractors and other trades to maintain work quality and compliance with WSH standards per MOM guidelines
  • Anticipate and monitor material shortages to ensure uninterrupted workflow
  • Participate actively in safety programs, including daily Tool Box and Committee meetings, to implement effective safety controls for workers
  • Follow Permit to Work (PTW) system rigorously before commencing any work
  • Attend weekly meetings to report site issues and propose practical solutions
  • Apply strong knowledge of workplace safety, emergency response, and safe segregation of scaffold works around live services and critical infrastructure

Required competencies and certifications

  • Strong knowledge of WSH scaffolding regulations and relevant codes of practice to supervise and ensure regulatory compliance on site
  • Ability to read scaffold plans, layout drawings, method statements, and site coordination requirements with strong attention to detail
