Elite Sports Medicine + Orthopedics is looking for a Scheduling Support Specialist to join our team at our Midtown location.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position, with hours scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. No weekends!

What You'll Do

As a Scheduling Support Specialist, you’ll play an important role in helping patients get the care they need while providing exceptional service to our patients, providers, and referring physicians.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide a high level of customer service to patients, colleagues, and referring physicians
  • Answer incoming calls and return voicemails in a timely manner
  • Schedule new and established patients for appointments with our providers
  • Follow provider-specific scripts, scheduling protocols, and procedures
  • Stay up to date on provider contracts and scheduling requirements
  • Review patient information to ensure all necessary documentation is available prior to treatment
  • Request and obtain records and other required information from hospitals, referring physicians, and other healthcare providers
  • Assist with obtaining referring records, demographic information, insurance information, imaging discs, and other necessary documentation
  • Copy, scan, and send applicable medical records and documentation
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
  • Work collaboratively with the scheduling and clinical teams to ensure a smooth patient experience

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and all applicable regulatory and company requirements
  • Complete all required annual training programs
  • Attend meetings as requested
  • Follow the Team Member Handbook and company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor
