$5,000 - Sign on bonus:

  • Eligible to BCBAs in ACS that are *hired for a minimum of 25 billable hours.
  • Bonus of $2,500: 1st installment is after the first billable service. Second installment of $2,500 issued 90 days after hire.

Pay- $75-$79 per hour based on years of experience as a BCBA after BCBA certification (independent contractor / 1099).

Position Summary:

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides specialized behavior-analytic services within the Chester County Intermediate Unit’s Clinical Treatment Programs. This position is primarily assigned to the TEACH Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) classrooms located at the Coatesville and Great Valley campuses, with additional consultation, assessment, and behavioral support provided across other Clinical Treatment Programs at Stanley K Landis in Coatesville as needed.

The TEACH ABA program is a school-based mental health treatment program that combines behavioral, educational, and therapeutic services for students who have experienced significant difficulty in public school settings due to mental health disabilities. The program uses applied behavior analysis, individualized behavior support, daily data collection, therapeutic intervention, and individualized educational programming to help students develop the social, emotional, and behavioral skills needed to participate successfully in less restrictive environments.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Provide comprehensive behavior-analytic services to students within assigned TEACH ABA classrooms and other Clinical Treatment Programs as needed.
    • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) using direct and indirect assessment methods, including observation, stakeholder interviews, record review, and behavioral data analysis.
    • Develop, implement, monitor, and revise Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs) based on assessment findings and ongoing student progress.
    • Analyze behavioral data related to behavior reduction and PBSP goals, including reviewing data collected by staff, graphing performance, identifying trends, evaluating intervention effectiveness, and documenting progress.
    • Collaborate with case managers and other team members to support progress monitoring and decision-making.
    • Provide classroom consultation through observation, coaching, modeling, problem-solving, and monitoring of intervention implementation.
    • Provide training and performance feedback to teachers, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), instructional staff, and other team members implementing behavioral and instructional programming.
    • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians in accordance with applicable supervision requirements, including individualized coaching, competency assessment, direct observation, performance feedback, and guidance related to intervention implementation.
    • Participate in IEP meetings, restraint meetings, team meetings, parent meetings, and other student support meetings.
    • Prepare for meetings by reviewing and analyzing behavioral data, updating behavior support plans, preparing progress summaries, and developing recommendations.
    • Provide behavioral expertise during meetings and collaborate with educational staff and families to develop or adjust student programming.
    • Respond to urgent behavioral situations by providing real-time guidance, overseeing crisis intervention procedures, supporting safety protocols, participating in post-crisis debriefing, and recommending preventative strategies.
    • Provide FBA, PBSP, consultation, and other behavior-analytic support within additional Clinical Treatment Programs at SKL as requested.

Requirements

Skills:

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extensive skills in behavioral assessment and positive behavior support plan development.
  • Extensive knowledge of data analysis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team atmosphere.
  • Experience working with students with autism, emotional/behavioral disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in applied behavior analysis (ABA) or a related program
  • BCBA certification
  • Working experience after BCBA certification
