School Counsellor/Counsellor (Part Time)
Summary
Provide individual and group counselling to students in schools, manage cases, and consult with parents and staff on mental health and social issues.

This position reports to the Programme Manager (Counselling) and interfaces with company staff and staff from school partners. Specific Responsibilities
Job Incumbent will be responsible for:
COUNSELLING
· Provide individual, and/or group counselling for students to help them understand and manage mental health and/or emotional, social, behavioural or financial issues in a school setting
· Manage counselling cases and adopt appropriate intervention
· Provide consultation to parents and stakeholders where necessary
· Attend and respond to crises in a timely and professional manner
· Work closely with school staff to support the students
· Undertake administrative duties relating to counselling e.g. documentation of cases and all counselling work done
· Participate in group clinical supervision and individual supervision sessions
Minimum qualification: At least a Post Graduate Diploma in counselling. Prior experience counselling youths is a bonus.
Expectations: Part time position, to be able to work independently
