School Floor Supervisor
Egypt Education Platform is excited to announce an opening for a School Floor Supervisor at GEMS British International School Al Rehab. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized, and student-focused professional who is passionate about maintaining a safe, positive, and well-managed school environment while supporting the daily operations of the school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, break times, transitions, and other designated areas throughout the school day.
- Monitor student behaviour and ensure compliance with the school's policies and expectations.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for students, staff, and visitors.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to student incidents, concerns, and emergencies.
- Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and the leadership team to support student wellbeing and behaviour management.
- Conduct regular patrols of school facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
- Assist with the coordination and supervision of school events, assemblies, and emergency drills.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and communicate relevant information to the appropriate stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in school operations, student supervision, pastoral care, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in challenging situations.
- A professional, approachable, and student-centred attitude.
- Good command of English and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
