Summary
Maintains school gardens, potted plants, and aquaponics systems by watering, pruning, fertilizing, and troubleshooting irrigation systems.
Working Hour
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am to 4.30 pm
- Friday: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Key Roles
Maintain planted and potted plants (watering, pruning, fertilising, mulching, weeding).
Care for seedlings and transplant potted plants indoors and outdoors.
Monitor plant health and address pest problems.
Troubleshoot and replace components in automatic irrigation systems.
Advise on and support herb, fruit, and thematic garden planning and upkeep.
Maintain aquaponics system (prepare grow beds, plant crops, monitor growth).
Perform other gardening duties as assigned.
Requirements
Relevant certificates in Horticulture, Landscape Maintenance, Urban Farming, or related fields preferred.
Preferably at least 3 years' relevant experience.
