School ICT Support Officer (Chua Chu Kang)
Job Scope:
1. Provide technical support for daily school operations, including morning assembly, by setting up and powering on ICT and AV equipment, logging into designated systems, and troubleshooting issues such as projection, audio, internet connectivity, display, and device-related problems.
2. Set up, operate and maintain ICT and AV systems used across the school, including but not limited to projectors, televisions, digital display screens, portable microphone systems, speakers, laptops and other presentation equipment for assemblies, recess programmes, student dismissal, and other school activities.
3. Provide ICT support for e-Examinations and school-based assessments, including preparing, configuring and setting up laptops, iPads and related peripherals (e.g. chargers, headphones, speakers, microphones), conducting pre-event equipment checks, and supporting the setup for e-Oral, Listening Comprehension and other
digital assessments.
4. Prepare and manage shared student devices for daily teaching and learning by:
- Charging and maintaining iPads, laptops and their accessories.
- Preparing devices for classes based on the school's booking system.
- Organising devices into charging carts and trolleys for deployment.
- Delivering devices to designated locations where required and preparing collection points for student self-collection.
- Performing basic checks to ensure devices are ready for classroom use.
5. Prepare digital media and multimedia resources for school programmes and events, including editing photographs and videos, creating highlight videos, collating media files, and producing multimedia presentations for events such as Primary 1 Orientation, Primary 6 Graduation, staff farewells, National Day, Racial Harmony Day, Teachers' Day, Children's Day, festive celebrations and other school events.
6. Provide ICT and AV support during school events, examinations and activities, including the setup, operation and teardown of ICT, PA and AV equipment before, during and after events.
7. Take photographs and videos during school events and activities as required by the school.
8. Assist in the stocktaking, inventory management and basic maintenance of ICT assets, peripherals and consumable items, and report equipment faults requiring further attention.
9. Support the implementation of the school's ICT initiatives and digital transformation efforts by assisting ICT Key Personnel and School Leaders in operational ICT matters and recommending suitable ICT tools or applications where appropriate.
10. Undertake any other ICT-related duties assigned by the HOD (ICT), SH (ICT), ICT Key Personnel or School Leaders in support of the school's operations.
Working Hours:
• Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., inclusive of 45 min lunch break
• Fridays: 7.00 a.m. to 3.30 p.m., inclusive of 45 min lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Requirements:
• At least an IT-related diploma.
• At least 2 years experience in producing multimedia projects and setting up basic audio-visual equipment .
• Good organisation skills and able to multi-task.
• Good communication skills and positive attitude.
• Passion for ICT, with an innovative spirit to drive digital transformation.
