About the role
As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll support the cook and catering team by:
- Assisting with simple food preparation
- Serving meals and setting up dining areas
- Cleaning kitchens, utensils and eating areas
- Following food hygiene, health and safety standards
- Creating a friendly and professional environment for pupils
You may occasionally work across different schools, depending on service needs.
The salary for this position is £25,614 per annum pro rata

Experience in catering is welcome but not essential.
