School Nutrition & Food Science Assistant (Bukit Panjang)

Job Scope:

• Maintain general cleanliness of equipment in the Cookery Rooms to ensure clean and hygienic condition for teaching and learning
• Assist Teachers in preparation of ingredients for practical lessons eg mincing of meat, measure and apportion ingredients
• Keep stock of ingredients in Food Labs to ensure sufficient supplies for teaching and learning
• Clear Food Labs after lessons: cleaning of workbenches and sinks, sweeping of floors and mopping of floors, clearing of rubbish etc;
• Maintain general cleanliness of equipment and workplace in designated rooms; and
• Any other relevant duties assigned by the school supervisors and school leaders.

Requirements:

• Good communication skills
• At least PSLE certificate
• Experience in an MOE school setting will be advantageous
• Be able to observe strict hygiene when preparing food ingredients for NFS lessons;
• Candidate should preferably display traits such as service excellence, has a service oriented attitude, is meticulous with details and efficient in meeting work deadlines.

Working Hours: Mondays to Thursdays: 7am to 4.30pm (inclusive of 1 hour lunch break), Fridays: 7am to 4pm (inclusive of 1 hour lunch break)

Contract Period: 1 year (1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027)
