Job Summary

You will maintain cleanliness and order in two kitchens, manage inventory and equipment orders, and support kitchen operations to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of two kitchens by sweeping, mopping, cleaning cookers, tables, sinks, and emptying waste bins to ensure hygienic food preparation areas
• Assist in ordering food, kitchen equipment, and cleaning supplies to support uninterrupted kitchen operations
• Track ingredient stock levels and monitor expiry dates to maintain fresh and safe food supplies
• Clean refrigerators biannually in June and October to uphold food safety standards
• Operate washing machine and dryer to wash and fold kitchen towels and aprons, ensuring availability of clean linens
• Report any defects or maintenance issues in kitchens 1 and 2 promptly to the Operations Manager for timely resolution
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Principal, Vice-Principal, Head of Department, Operations Manager, or Administration Manager to support school operations
• Adjust work schedule during specified school holiday periods when services are not required, with prorated payment for any extra hours worked upon request
