Position Summary

As a School Psychologist at Bold Charter School, you will ensure that all students, including students with specific learning, social, and emotional needs, experience an engaging and rigorous learning environment every day. You will model and inspire a love of learning that will equip each student to succeed. You will be part of a results-oriented and collaborative team of professionals who are relentless in their pursuit of educational excellence.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Build strong relationships with students and their families to support academic, social, and emotional success
• Conducting psycho-educational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and any additional evaluations needed for a thorough and accurate representation of students
• Provide individual and group counseling services; support with crisis management as needed
• Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans and supports; collaborate with and coach teachers to support students and maximize classroom learning time
• Actively participate in the school-based support team to ensure student progress through the appropriate supports and interventions

Successful candidates will have:

• 3+ years experience in a high-performing K-12 setting
• Demonstrated experience supporting all students to achieve high levels of performance
• Bachelor’s and graduate degrees with an outstanding record of achievement
• Valid NYS School Psychologist certification

Compensation

Bold Charter School offers highly competitive compensation, in the top range of comparable positions across New York City charter schools. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 annually and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
