The Evelyn Hamblen Center is an alternative site that serves two schools; the Gaines Alternative School, a program that serves students who have committed level 4 infractions of the District code of conduct, and Hamblen a Therapeutic Day School that serves students with behavioral issues, including students with both EBD and ASD exceptionalities.
The applicant for this position will work with both schools to track Mental Health referrals through the MTSS process, assist in family engagement activities, manage outside referrals for students, and assist in providing ESE services.
PCM and Ukeru training will be provided by the District.
