Position Overview

1. The School Nurse provides for the promotion and maintenance of health as well as the prevention of illness and injuries
2. The School Nurse facilitates the removal of health-related barriers to learning and promotes and optimal level of wellness for students and staff
3. The School Nurse assists in providing an environment that supports the physical, mental, emotional, and social health of students enabling their success in the learning process
4. The School Nurse performs all duties in accordance with Pinecrest Academy Policy and Procedure and Georgia state law regarding nurse practice
