Science Content Lead

You will own the social media strategy and content calendar for scientific projects, create thought leadership content and technical announcements, translate complex peptide and AI research into accessible social content, and produce visual assets like protein folding animations and data visualizations. You will coordinate with scientific leads to surface discoveries, support co-marketing and cross-posting, monitor engagement metrics and iterate on formats, and use AI tools to scale content production while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

  • Own social media strategy and content calendar for scientific projects
  • Create thought leadership content including technical blog posts, discovery announcements, case studies, and explainer threads
  • Translate complex peptide science and AI research workflows into accessible social content
  • Develop and produce visual content including protein folding animations, data visualizations, and scientific graphics
  • Coordinate with scientific leads to surface and amplify real discoveries
  • Support co-marketing efforts and coordinate cross-posting with partner organizations and main accounts
  • Monitor engagement metrics, experiment with formats, and iterate on content
  • Use AI tools to scale content production

Requirements

  • Background in biology, biochemistry, biotech, pharmacology, or a related scientific field (Bachelor's or Master's)
  • Active in scientific communities on X, Reddit, LinkedIn, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrable experience creating scientific or technical content for social media
  • Familiarity with peptide or drug discovery space or adjacent experience in pharma, biotech, or computational biology
  • Strong scientific writing and communication skills
  • Comfortable using AI tools strategically to scale content
  • Ability to take initiative and build projects from scratch
