Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree required

· Master's Degree preferred

· Teaching experience in Science or a related field preferred

· Strong communication and classroom management skills

· Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, parents, and cadets

· Commitment to fostering a structured and disciplined learning environment

Duties and Responsibilities

· Teach Physical Science (8th Grade), Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and other courses as assigned

· Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum objectives

· Conduct laboratory activities and demonstrations in accordance with established safety procedures

· Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and cadets

· Maintain an accurate and up-to-date grade book

· Mentor cadets through weekly advisory meetings

· Participate in occasional weekend duties and school events

· Adhere to all Academy policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook

· Help maintain and foster a structured, disciplined, and positive classroom environment

· Support the Academy's mission of academic achievement, leadership development, and character education

· Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to employment

· Ability to meet all employment eligibility requirements
