Science Lab Assistant

Job Description

• Prepare laboratory apparatus and experiment setups, and assist teachers during Science lessons.
• Conduct stocktaking twice a year.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the Science Laboratory.
• Maintain Science Corners, including spices and herbs, cactus and fernery, hydroponics and vertical gardens.
• Assist with harvesting and transplanting plants in hydroponics and vertical gardens.
• Support Science activities during recess.
• Assist with the recycling programme on Thursdays during recess

Requirements

• Organised, meticulous and able to multitask.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Previous school laboratory experience is preferred.
