About the Role
Young Education is seeking a passionate and academically strong Science Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to secondary school students following international curricula.
The successful candidate should be able to explain scientific concepts clearly, develop students' analytical and problem-solving skills, and prepare students effectively for school assessments and external examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and structured Science lessons to secondary school students.
Teach relevant topics in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics according to subject expertise.
Support students following IGCSE, IB MYP and other international curricula.
Prepare students for school examinations, assessments and external qualifications.
Identify students' academic weaknesses and provide targeted support.
Develop suitable teaching materials, assignments and revision resources.
Monitor academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain professional communication with students, parents and the academic team.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Education or a related discipline.
Strong academic knowledge in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics.
Previous experience teaching secondary school Science.
Familiarity with IGCSE and/or IB curricula is strongly preferred.
Excellent English communication and explanation skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to students with different academic abilities.
Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to student progress.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching Cambridge IGCSE Science.
Experience teaching IB MYP Science or IB DP Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
Experience preparing students for international examinations.
Prior teaching experience in international schools or established tuition centres.
