SCM Planner (Hi-Tech industry / West Central) [SAS]

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating and managing communications with SEC, ESC, and internal stakeholders to align with business planning and forecasting cycles. Supports transactional activities within the business support team to drive achievement of revenue targets.

Demand Planning & Forecasting

• Monitor demand and plan supply to ensure forecast accuracy

• Schedule and conduct inventory/forecast meetings with Project Managers

• Analyse data and prepare forecast submissions

• Maintain forecasting and procurement systems

• Monitor slow-moving items and implement corrective actions

Inventory Management

• Plan and maintain optimal inventory levels

• Track inventory performance, including DOS and forecast accuracy

• Establish processes for short- and long-term inventory monitoring

Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate across stakeholders to ensure visibility of demand, supply, and shipments

• Process procurement data and purchase orders

• Manage product pricing in SAP, including approvals and updates

• Perform SAP transactions and support weekly shipping and delivery schedules

• Maximise drop shipment based on business requirements

Stock Allocation

• Manage stock allocation for forecasts, ad-hoc requests, and excess inventory

• Perform weekly allocation of stock to sales companies for shipment

Requirements:

• Good with Power BI, Microsoft excel, and MS office tools.
• Working knowledge of computerized ERP environment, preferably SAP systems, TM1 system.
• Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.
