SCM Sourcing & Project Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:
This regional role is responsible for shaping Pizza Hut’s MEA Supply Chain strategy in support of 850+ restaurants across more than 27 markets. This leader will strengthen supplier partnerships, enhance franchisee economics, and build a resilient supplier ecosystem by partnering closely with suppliers, franchisees, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, future-focused supply chain solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and execute long-term category strategies that support sustainable business growth, improve franchisee economics, and strengthen supply chain resilience.
- Identify and deliver value creation opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier optimization, cost management, and category innovation.
- Build supply chain management capabilities and process excellence to drive world-class category management practices, including cost modeling, commodity intelligence, supplier relationship management, and technology enablement.
- Optimize supply chain processes by identifying opportunities for efficiency, capability building, digitization, and continuous improvement.
- Build compelling, data-driven business cases that improve franchisee economics, operational efficiency, and long-term system value.
- Champion the adoption of advanced supply chain analytics and automation to improve decision-making, increase operational efficiency, and create scalable category management solutions across the MEA region.
- Ensure supply continuity and operational resilience across a dynamic supply network by proactively mitigating geopolitical, inflationary, commodity, logistics, and operational risks impacting the region.
- Own strategic supplier relationships and develop new supplier partnerships to drive competitive advantage and ensure Pizza Hut is a customer of choice.
- Elevate supplier partnerships to unlock value and growth for Pizza Hut, including leading negotiations, capacity planning, and business continuity planning.
- Lead commercialization and implementation of new and promotional products, including LTOs, ensuring supply readiness, stakeholder alignment, and successful market execution.
- Drive governance, compliance, and adherence to Pizza Hut standards.
- Drive specification harmonization and optimization across the MEA region.
- Champion sustainability initiatives within the Pizza Hut supply chain and ensure long-term ESG goals are embedded into category and sourcing strategies.
- Collaborate regularly with supplier partners, regional supply chain leaders, franchise partners, Pizza Hut leadership, global and regional functional leaders, and third-party partners or consultants.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain roles, ideally within the food industry or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in global or regional strategic category management or procurement.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, challenge the status quo, and drive change.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and partnership skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners across a global business.
- Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to gain buy-in and influence key stakeholders at all levels of a global organization.
- High level of intellectual curiosity.
- Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging spend analytics, procurement technologies, and data-driven decision-making tools.
- Strong digital and automation mindset.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Food industry supply chain experience.
- Regional or multi-market experience across MEA or other international markets.
- Experience working with franchise partners, supplier partners, and cross-functional global teams.
- Experience leading category innovation, supplier negotiations, commercialization, or supply chain transformation initiatives.
