Job Summary:
We are in need of an experienced, reliable, and friendly associate responsible for measuring, fabricating, repairing and installing screening materials for our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and install window screen materials.
- Repairs wood and metal frames as necessary. Fabricates frames as necessary.
- Maintains stock of screen repair materials and orders materials as necessary with the approval of the store manager.
- Maintains a clean and safe work site by following safety rules and procedures and wearing personal protective equipment as required.
- Attends staff meetings and training as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the tools and materials needed for measuring, cutting, and installation of screens.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills that positively benefit interaction with internal and external customers.
- Ability to successfully communicate with customers as to the work to be completed for each job and describe our process for completing such work
- Ability to operate a variety of light equipment and hand tools according to established safety and risk management practices.
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
- Organized and efficient with time.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions.
