For our client operating in the financial sector, we are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support cybersecurity initiatives and teams.

What you will be doing
The role will report to the Technical Delivery Lead working within an agile, DevSecOps software delivery environment. The role will be responsible for managing two of the scrum teams within Cybersecurity Engineering and will involve working closely with a wide range of stakeholders including Cybersecurity project teams, Control Owners and the business.
The role will be accountable for the following:
Guiding a scrum team to use the agile framework values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver technical solutions
Ensuring the proper use of collaborative processes and removing impediments for the scrum team
Training, mentoring, and supporting team members to become a self-organising team
Facilitating internal communication (discussions, decision making and conflict resolution) and fostering effective collaboration)
Working with product owners to manage backlogs and new requests
Tracking and managing delivery dependencies between teams
Coordinating closely with other teams
Ensuring work is delviered to quality standards at the end of each sprint
Guiding development teams to improve their scrum maturity
Helping build a productive environment in which team members ‘own’ their deliverables and enjoy coming to work
Inspiring incremental change that increases the efficiency of the scrum team
Working with other scrum masters (scrum of scrums) to collectively deliver Cybersecurity Engineering’s objectives
What you will bring to the role:
Certified Scrum Master (CSM or an equivalent)
Experience working as a Scrum Master for at least two years for a software development team.
Excellent skills and knowledge of collaborative leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency;
Knowledge of the patterns and techniques used in an Agile project e.g. burndown metrics, backlog tracking, velocity, task definition, retrospectives and defect management;
Demonstrable experience in managing bespoke software and/or Digital Development/Experience Design projects/implementation and integration projects, from
inception through to delivery;Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
Nice to have : Product Owner experience
