As our new Scrum Master, you’ll support the effective delivery of member experience initiatives within the Experience team. Reporting to the Senior Product Owner, you’ll facilitate agile ways of working, help cross-functional squads deliver value consistently, and remove delivery impediments so the team can stay focused on member outcomes, journey improvement and business priorities.

About the role
As our new Scrum Master, you’ll support the effective delivery of member experience initiatives within the Experience team. Reporting to the Senior Product Owner, you’ll facilitate agile ways of working, help cross-functional squads deliver value consistently, and remove delivery impediments so the team can stay focused on member outcomes, journey improvement and business priorities.
You will:
- Facilitate agile delivery practices across the Experience team, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, refinement and retrospectives.
- Partner with the Senior Product Owner to support backlog management, prioritisation and sequencing aligned to member journey and experience priorities.
- Support the squad to plan, commit to and deliver work aligned to agreed business and member outcomes.
- Identify and remove delivery impediments, escalating where needed to keep work flowing and maintain momentum.
- Provide clear visibility of delivery progress, risks, dependencies and team health to the Senior Product Owner and broader stakeholders.
- Coach teams and stakeholders in agile principles, scrum practices and continuous improvement, while embedding consistent delivery practices across Member Experience.
We’re looking for a collaborative and delivery-focused Scrum Master who can bring structure, momentum and clarity to cross-functional teams. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy coaching others, improving ways of working and keeping teams focused on practical outcomes that make a difference for members.
- Experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar agile delivery role, ideally supporting cross-functional product, experience or technology teams.
- A strong understanding of agile delivery practices, including Scrum and Kanban, with the ability to facilitate effective ceremonies and support team performance.
- Confidence partnering with Product Owners and stakeholders to support backlog management, prioritisation, planning and delivery visibility.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and bring people on the journey.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to identify delivery risks, dependencies and impediments, then support practical and sustained ways of improving team delivery.
- Relevant agile certification such as Certified Scrum Master, PSM or equivalent is desirable, as is experience in digital, experience design, transformation, financial services or another regulated environment.
