Scrum Master

Introduction & Summary :

We are seeking a Scrum Master who specializes in Product & Engineering collaboration. This role requires an individual capable of supporting tech teams by facilitating meaningful improvements in their daily operations, rather than merely conducting traditional agile ceremonies. The ideal candidate should be pragmatic, hands-on, and impact-driven, with a strong ability to foster seamless collaboration between Product and Engineering teams, utilizing KPIs to track and measure team effectiveness and delivery flow.

Main Responsibilities :

• Facilitate agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) ensuring they are efficient, purposeful, and focused on outcomes.

• Enhance team collaboration by helping the team focus on shared sprint goals, clear priorities, and reliable commitments.

• Strengthen collaboration methods across discovery, delivery, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.

• Assist teams in transitioning from activity-based delivery to outcome-based delivery.

• Track, analyze, and apply relevant KPIs (such as velocity, throughput, lead time, and cycle time) to enhance delivery flow, predictability, and quality.

• Identify and resolve performance blockers, external dependencies, and systemic issues that slow down the team.

• Partner closely with Product Owners and Tech Leads to ensure a healthy, prioritized backlog and smooth delivery pipeline.

• Promote team autonomy, accountability, and self-organization to help the team reach higher delivery maturity.

• Offer constructive challenges to existing team processes and provide actionable, pragmatic recommendations for improvement.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master within a technology or product-driven environment.

• Strong background in collaborating directly with software engineering teams, with a solid understanding of software delivery constraints and release processes.

• Solid understanding of agile product management practices, including user story mapping, backlog estimation, and roadmap alignment.

• Proficient knowledge of agile frameworks and methodologies, specifically Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.

• Hands-on experience in defining and utilizing delivery metrics (lead time, cycle time, quality, etc.) to drive continuous improvement.

• Adept at interpreting team dynamics, resolving conflicts, and fostering a collaborative, psychological safe environment.

• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills at the team level.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to help teams structure their work efficiently.

Nice to Have:

• Professional Scrum Master (PSM I/II) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.

• Experience in fast-paced sectors such as SaaS or fintech.

• Familiarity with advanced agile tracking tools (Jira, Confluence) and data visualization dashboards.
