Scrum Master
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.
- Coach and mentor Scrum teams on Agile values, Scrum principles, and best practices.
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined, prioritized, and ready for upcoming sprints.
- Track sprint progress and ensure commitments are delivered on time and with quality.
- Foster collaboration among Development, QA, Product Management, DevOps, UX, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and improve Agile metrics such as Sprint Velocity, Burndown, Lead Time, Cycle Time, and Team Capacity.
- Identify delivery risks, dependencies, and blockers, and proactively drive resolution.
- Support release planning and coordinate cross-team dependencies.
- Promote continuous improvement through effective retrospectives and actionable follow-ups.
- Ensure transparency by maintaining Agile dashboards, reports, and project documentation.
- Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Managers to improve delivery predictability and execution.
- Drive Agile maturity across teams and encourage a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning.
