Job Description: Scrum Master

Ready to be the catalyst for continuous improvement at the heart of Asia's live events and ticketing industry? Join our established, passionate team as a Scrum Master to refine and scale our market-leading Ticketing System.

Company Overview

Total Ticketing Limited is Hong Kong’s leading digital ticketing company selling tickets for a wide range of events across Asia through our in-house developed Enterprise Ticketing System (ETS) on www.ticketflap.com.

We also provide our ETS solution to companies and organisations across the globe who produce, promote, and run events and attractions, including integrated resorts, concert promoters, theatre companies, and sports organisations. We are a passionate technology company committed to agile practices and continuous delivery.

We need an authentic Servant Leader and Agile Coach to empower our development teams. You will be instrumental in fostering a high-trust, self-organising environment, clearing paths to ensure our pipeline keeps pace with the dynamic events industry.

As a small, nimble tech team, your influence extends beyond ceremony facilitation—you'll be a key voice in shaping our processes and our product, including how we use AI: in your own work, and in helping the wider organisation adopt it well.

Key Responsibilities

  • Agile Facilitation & Coaching:

    • Be the master facilitator and coach, ensuring every Scrum ceremony is high value, productive, and focused on delivering results, not just following a template.

    • Coach the Development and QA teams on Agile principles and Scrum framework, promoting self-organisation and cross-functionality.

    • Understand the situation and challenges of the organisation to identify and adapt Agile principles for the benefit of Total Ticketing.

    • Act as the team's first line of defense, proactively identifying and removing organisational or technical roadblocks so they can maintain deep focus on committed goals.

    • Use AI yourself as part of how you prepare, facilitate, and follow up, and coach the team to do the same where it genuinely improves the work.

  • Impediment Removal & Flow:

    • Proactively identify, track, and help remove impediments and dependencies that hinder the team's progress.

    • Work with the Product Owner, Project Manager and Customer Success Manager to clarify priorities and refine the sprint backlog to ensure a smooth workflow.

    • Foster transparency by maintaining visible artifacts (e.g., sprint backlog, burndown charts) and encouraging open communication.

  • Management Support and Oversight:

    • Provide clear, concise visibility into development progress and backlog health, translating team metrics into strategic insights for management.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Cultivate a strong culture of self-inspection and adaptation, guiding the teams to leverage metrics (velocity, cycle time) to continuously refine their own working processes.

    • Facilitate productive retrospectives to identify actionable improvements and help the team implement them.

    • Champion sensible AI adoption across the organisation: help people find the uses that save time, and be the voice that keeps customer data, payment details, and other related information out of the tools that should not have them.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification is preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Information Technology roles, including at least 3 years as a Scrum Master for a software development team.

  • Deep understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile methodologies.

  • Exceptional communication skills, able to fluidly coach team members, articulate complex challenges to stakeholders, and mediate conflicts with empathy.

  • High degree of Emotional Intelligence and Situational Awareness to read team dynamics and adapt your coaching style.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and maintain a focus on detail in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with Jira or similar Agile project management tools.

  • Hands-on experience using AI in your own day-to-day work, and the ability to help others adopt it in the right way — practical, careful with data, and in service of the work rather than for its own sake.

  • Excellent written and verbal English.

  • Experience of working in a regulated environment or within an ISO27k or PCI-DSS certified organization would be an advantage.

What We Offer

  • A key, autonomous role where your expertise directly shapes how a high-performing team delivers a globally used product.

  • Join a high-trust, collaborative culture where passion for technology and live events meets agile discipline. We value transparency, curiosity, and continuous learning.

  • Competitive salary and benefits.
