ISMIRA Agency actively recruiting for position MASSAGE THERAPIST for Scylla AG!

As a Massage Therapist, you help guests feel relaxed, refreshed, and cared for. You provide massage and wellness services while supporting the Housekeeping and Spa teams. By keeping the spa clean, assisting other departments, and giving excellent guest care, you contribute to a calm, comfortable, and welcoming onboard experience.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting guests on embarkation day to escort them to their cabin and help with luggage.
• Cleaning 6-8 staterooms during changing day in compliance with Scylla standards and hygienic guidelines.
• Cleaning the SPA area incl. Fitness room daily and minimum 1 general cleaning per week.
• Responsible for all massage treatments in compliance to company standards.
• Responsible for welcome towels after excursion in compliance with the hair dresser (if on board).
• Responsible for the early riser breakfast from 07.00 am – 09.00 am in Bistro/Lido/ Arthur’s in compliance to company standards.
• Assisting Housekeeping during the day with cabin cleaning if necessary in compliance with company standards and hygienic guidelines.
• Check and refill the Fitness room (towels, water, etc.) several times a day, assists with "Turn-down" service on a daily base.
• Reporting technical defects in the SPA area to the Reception.
• Assistance in the Laundry if necessary.
• Adherence to cleanliness and hygienic regulations in compliance with HACCP
  regulations and Scylla standards.
• etc.

Requirements:

• Age: min. 18 years old
• Preferably experienced within the hotel industry and/ or previous ship experience.
• Stress resistant, calm under pressure, team player with positive attitude.
• Open minded, independent and flexible with strong customer focus.
• Professional attitude and appearance, reliable and hard-working able to work long shifts.
• Crew on board river cruises have to be ready for mixed duties and multitasking.

Languages vs Nationality Requirements:

• Good English skills (written & verbal) required for all positions.
• German-speakers (advanced level) can also be be considered with basic English.
• EU nationals can apply and join during whole season without visas.
• Non-EU nationals apply for D type German visa before joining, thus may apply only before season starts.
• Non-EU nationals that speak no German language may be considered only for culinary positions OR if they have strong previous cruise ship experieence in the same position.
