SDE 1 / 2 (Backend)

We are looking for a skilled SDE 1/2 Backend Developer to develop and maintain scalable backend systems. You will work closely with various teams, including engineers and front-end developers, to ensure smooth integration, performance, and scalability. Be a part of a young and dynamic team where you will work directly with founders and the leadership team in the 0-1 and then 1-10 journey.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain efficient backend systems using Python and FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of solution architecture and system design principles.
• Proven experience in building robust, scalable APIs, especially in the e-commerce space, search, cart, order tracking, payments, etc.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and troubleshoot issues independently.
• Bonus if you have experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
• Optimize backend systems for scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in development.
• Ensure backend security and compliance with PII standards.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in backend development, particularly in B2C or B2B industries.
• Extensive knowledge of Python (FastAPI, Django, Flask), async programming, and JavaScript frameworks like Node.js, ES6+, and TypeScript.
• Experience in API-based application development, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Good to have proven experience in Agile methodologies and enterprise software lifecycle management.
