Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with 6+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should possess strong programming skills, automation testing expertise, and experience working in Agile environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for Web, API, and Database testing.
• Develop automation solutions using Java/Python/JavaScript.
• Perform API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps).
• Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to understand requirements.
• Participate in Sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Ensure software quality through automation best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and maintain testing documentation and reports.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools:
• Selenium WebDriver
• Playwright / Cypress
• TestNG / JUnit
• Strong API Automation experience using:
• Rest Assured
• Postman
• Karate Framework (Good to Have)
• Experience with Database Testing using SQL.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Git/GitHub version control.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is preferred.

Good to Have

• Performance Testing using JMeter/K6.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience in BDD frameworks like Cucumber.
• Knowledge of AI-powered testing tools and automation practices.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Budget

25 LPA (Depending on experience and interview performance)
