Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SDET Engineer with strong expertise in Java-based automation testing and experience testing web and backend applications. Candidates with product development experience and exposure to financial services or trading applications will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for frontend and backend applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
• Perform regression, end-to-end, API, and performance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects.
• Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines.
• Prepare test coverage reports, defect reports, and release stability updates.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with Cucumber and automation testing frameworks.
• API testing using Rest Assured, Postman, or SoapUI.
• Basic SQL queries and database validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Playwright.
• Product-based company experience.
• Exposure to financial services, trading, or banking applications.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in automation testing for web and backend applications.
• Candidates must be available for a mandatory face-to-face technical/engineering interview at the Hyderabad office.
