Sdet Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java, Selenium and Playwright.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web applications.
• Develop scalable automation frameworks using Java/Python/JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Perform REST API testing using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
• Validate API requests, responses, status codes, headers, authentication, and data integrity.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Identify, analyze, and report defects using tools such as JIRA.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test scenarios.
• Execute automated test cases across different browsers and environments.
• Maintain test data, automation scripts, test documentation, and reports.
• Troubleshoot test failures and perform root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to improving test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Good experience with Playwright and modern browser automation.
• Strong Programming experience in Java.
• Minimum 3+ Years of relevant experience in Team Leadership.
• Strong knowledge of API testing and REST APIs.
• Experience with Postman / REST Assured.
• Experience in developing or maintaining automation frameworks.
• Good understanding of SQL and database validation.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Good defect tracking and test management experience.
