We are looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help build and maintain enterprise-grade quality engineering solutions for critical Financial Services applications.

You will work alongside software engineers to develop robust automated testing frameworks, improve CI/CD pipelines, ensure software quality, and contribute to the continuous evolution of testing strategies.

The Professional We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled SDET with a strong software development background and deep expertise in automated testing frameworks.

The ideal candidate combines programming skills, testing expertise, analytical thinking, and close collaboration with development teams to ensure software quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

You should be comfortable building automation frameworks from the ground up, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and continuously improving testing processes.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for enterprise financial applications.
• Collaborate with software development teams to create comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Execute automated and manual tests across multiple application layers.
• Identify, document, and help resolve software defects.
• Develop UI automation using Playwright.
• Build and maintain API automation using Rest Assured.
• Participate in code reviews and promote software quality best practices.
• Improve test automation processes and engineering efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Stay current with emerging testing technologies and automation methodologies.

Education

Bachelor s Degree in:

• Computer Science
• Software Engineering
• Engineering
• or a related field

Mandatory Experience

• Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of software development and software testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages:
• Java
• C#
• Python
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as:
• Playwright
• Selenium
• Rest Assured
• Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using:
• Jenkins
• GitLab CI
• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as:
• JMeter
• LoadRunner
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluent English for collaboration with international teams.
