As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will play a critical role in advancing test automation capabilities and ensuring high-quality software delivery across systems and applications. You will design, develop, and sustain scalable automation frameworks while guiding teams on best practices across the software development lifecycle.
As a Sr SDET, you will\:
- Design and enhance test automation frameworks – Build and improve automation frameworks and implement scalable automated test suites and scripts
- Drive quality improvements – Recommend and implement enhancements across automation design, development, and execution processes
- Lead and mentor – Provide oversight and guidance to QA analysts, developers, and testers on automation and performance testing strategies
- Execute and analyze testing – Develop, maintain, and debug automated test scripts while tracking and communicating execution results
- Evaluate tools and frameworks – Participate in tool selection, create POCs, and recommend automation solutions
- Collaborate across teams – Work cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and project managers to deliver high-quality software
We’d love to hear from people with\:
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing automation frameworks with strong programming and scripting skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong coding experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns
- Experience with automation tools and frameworks (open-source or commercial)
- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and test management practices
- Experience with version control systems and defect tracking tools
- Understanding of cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and system architecture concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
