Job Description – NC Programmer
Experience: 2–6 Years
Required Skills: NX / Mastercam / PowerMill
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced NC Programmer with hands-on experience in NX, Mastercam, or PowerMill to develop CNC machining programs for manufacturing components.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize NC programs for CNC machining operations.
- Work on 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC programming, as applicable.
- Generate toolpaths and select appropriate cutting tools and machining strategies.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Ensure machining accuracy, quality, and cycle-time optimization.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and shop-floor teams.
Required Skills
- 2–6 years of experience in NC/CNC Programming.
- Hands-on experience with NX, Mastercam, or PowerMill.
- Knowledge of CNC machining processes, toolpaths, and cutting tools.
- Ability to understand engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Knowledge of multi-axis machining is preferred.
