Sea Logistics Reefer Manager

Your primary objective is to drive + grow the reefer product by developing a strategy to gain + retain customers. You will do this by working with a variety of internal + external stakeholders while focusing on the following key objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- To ensure your local product strategy aligns with the regional strategy + fits the local market.
- To build a local operational structure with reefer dedication within the customer + operational care locations (CCL + OCC) that creates + maintains reefer expertise, aiming for zero operational failures for temperature sensitive cargo.
- To ensure profitability across the profit + loss statement (P+L), proactively following up on discrepancies.
- To manage local carrier relationships; ensuring access to appropriate escalation channels.
- To take the lead in local reefer pricing in coordination with the regional reefer trade manager.
- To build a reefer development team and support the KAM team and field sales where needed.
- To take the lead in setting up or maintaining a GxP Pharma branch to ensure operational excellence for pharmaceutical clients where demand exists.
- To provide regular reefer training.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or a related discipline.
- 5–8 years of experience in international freight forwarding or ocean freight.
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight operations, cold chain logistics, reefer container technology, and international shipping documentation.
- Experience handling pharmaceutical, food, or perishable cargo is preferred.
- Experience managing regional or global customer accounts is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), or other cold chain compliance standards is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
