SEC REPORTING ANALYST

Job Description

This is a new position within the Corporate Reporting team that will play a critical role in helping to further ensure that we are well positioned to meet and maintain the financial reporting and disclosure requirements of a rapidly changing environment. This is an exceptional opportunity for a well-motivated and career-minded finance professional with Public Accounting and SEC reporting experience to join us at this exciting time.

Our Corporate Reporting team is looking for a colleague that will:


Work well with a variety of colleagues to support the timely and accurate preparation and review of quarterly SEC filings;

Ensure the effectiveness of an internal control environment over SEC financial reporting;

Support CFG’s process of continuous improvement by looking for ways to improve our efficiency without sacrificing quality;

Participate in XBRL training and tagging;

Support the preparation and review of deliverables related to the earnings release, including working cooperatively with our partners in Investor Relations;

Coordinate and/or prepare complex financial reporting; and

Research and respond to both internal and external audit and / or regulatory inquiries.

CPA

SEC Reporting

Public Accounting Experience

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate for this role will have large public accounting experience working with publicly held companies and SEC external reporting.
