Secondary Operator

Performs set-ups and operations of any complexity with little or no supervision including Point, Trim, Head Turn, Fillet Role of a wide variety of diameters, and angles.

Reads blueprint and job order for product specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be produced.

Installs circular form tools, set speed and feed to conform to specifications.

Verifies dimensions and angle of product for conformance to specifications.

Can cross train in one or more areas within Secondary Operation.

Fill out Inspection Sheets and maintain quality standards through 3 pan other processes.

Be proficient in the use of various types of inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, comparator, and other misc. inspection equipment)

Regularly submits new ideas to support continuous improvement efforts.

Ensure parts are clean of oil prior to de-chipping operation.

Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area.

Performs other duties as required by management.
