Job Summary

Deliver engaging and effective Science and Chemistry lessons to Secondary 1 to 4 students, driving their academic progress and collaborating with parents and the teaching team to enhance learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons aligned with the centre’s curriculum to Secondary 1 & 2 Science and Secondary 3 & 4 Pure/Combined Chemistry students
  • Prepare detailed lesson plans and actively contribute to curriculum development to ensure content relevance and effectiveness
  • Monitor and track students’ academic progress using assessment data to identify learning needs and adjust teaching strategies
  • Provide constructive feedback and actionable solutions to parents to support student development and address challenges
  • Review and refine teaching programmes continuously to improve student engagement and learning outcomes
  • Collaborate with colleagues and perform other relevant academic duties as required to support the centre’s educational goals

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Passion for teaching and commitment to student development
  • Patience, responsibility, and openness to feedback
  • Strong communication skills to engage students, parents, and colleagues effectively
  • Positive “can-do” attitude and eagerness to learn; training will be provided for candidates without prior teaching experience

  • Option 1: 3 Weekdays + Both Weekends (End by 5pm)
  • Option 2: 5 Weekdays + 1 Weekend
