Security Advisor
We are hiring a Security Advisor on a permanent basis to work on site at our Co-op Refinery Complex in Regina, SK.

Join our team as a Security Advisor, where you'll play a key role in protecting people, assets, and operations while supporting emergency response readiness and driving continuous improvement in security programs.
What you’ll do:
- Advise on and implement physical security programs, site access controls, and protective measures to maintain a safe and secure operating environment and mitigate security risks.
- Oversee employee, contractor, and visitor access management, including administration of card access systems, key control processes, and supervision of contracted guard services.
- Manage and maintain critical security systems, including CCTV, intrusion detection, access control, and other security technologies to support threat prevention, detection, and investigation.
- Monitor, review, and classify security incidents, ensuring accurate reporting, consistent incident categorization, and appropriate escalation to internal stakeholders or external agencies.
- Plan, coordinate, train, and participate in emergency response activities, supporting Emergency Response Team readiness and Incident Command System protocols during operational incidents.
- Support the Security Supervisor by developing security procedures, advising operations and contractors on security requirements, assisting with risk assessments, and contributing to security planning, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in security and:
- Have 3+ years of experience in the security field, supporting with protocol and system implementation.
- Have a two-year diploma, ideally in security or criminal justice. A PSP or CPP designation would be considered an asset (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Are ideally familiar with software such as Lenel, Milstone, Everbridge, Motorola, D3, and Pinkerton Risk Assessment.
