Security Analyst
As a Security Analyst, you'll play a key role in identifying, investigating, and responding to cyber security threats across a range of customer and internal environments.
Working within a Security Operations function, you'll monitor alerts, investigate suspicious activity, support incident response activities, and help drive continuous improvements across security monitoring and operational processes.
You'll work closely with senior security professionals, engineers, and customers to ensure incidents are identified, contained, and remediated effectively while contributing to the ongoing maturity of the security function.

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events across customer and internal environments using SIEM and security monitoring tools
- Investigate alerts and perform initial triage of potential security incidents
- Escalate and track security incidents through to resolution using ticketing systems
- Support incident response activities, including documentation, analysis, and remediation coordination
- Analyse vulnerability reports and assist with remediation activities and reporting
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve security issues effectively
- Assist with security reviews, audits, and compliance activities
- Contribute to the enhancement of security monitoring tools, processes, policies, and controls
- Stay current with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends
- Participate in an on-call support roster as required
- Previous experience in a Security Operations Centre (SOC), Security Analyst, Service Desk Security, or cyber security-focused role
- Understanding of cyber security threats, attack vectors, and incident response practices
- Experience working with SIEM platforms and security monitoring tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and prioritise security events
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
