💥 What You’ll Actually Do
This role is part security presence, part customer service pro, part problem-solver.
You’ll:
- Be the go-to contact for residents, visitors, donors, and staff
- Keep the building secure while making people feel welcome
- Control access points and ensure only authorized individuals enter
- Monitor activity across the facility and respond to concerns
- Use cameras and alerts to stay one step ahead of issues
- Step in to de-escalate high-stress situations calmly and respectfully
- Handle front desk duties like calls, logs, and documentation
- Support donation intake and day-to-day shelter operations

- Full-time | 40 hours/week
- Monday – Friday 2nd Shift
- High school diploma required (Associate’s preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check and screening
